If I were to become your next student council president

Hello, and good morning. First, I want to thank all of my friends and teachers that has spared your time to listen to my speech. My name is Dian Rizki Adiningtyas, you can call me Dian. I'm an eleventh grader in class Science 1, and I am aiming to be your next student council president.

I'll try to make this speech simple, as I know that probably half of the students here are here solely by the fact that it's a must to listen to the candidates' speeches.

I personally think that I am qualified to be your next student council president. I was included inside the top ten rank in my tenth grade class, I can communicate well with different types of people and I can work under pressure.

I have one vision. It is to make school days as fun as it is serious.

We need to be serious in our study to achieve something greater in the future. It is the main reason of school anyway. Hence, my first mission, which is to make school a great and comfortable place to study.

How to do this? I'm thinking of increasing the rate of sanitary inside the school ground. A clean place is a healthy place, and a healthy place is a comfortable space. Also, I will try to hear your voice and cooperate with the school to repair any broken school facilities, such as un-flat tables, broken chairs, etc. I hope this could increase our comfort in studying seriously.

Moving on, I want to remind everyone here, that we are high school students. Teenagers, who like to have fun. We do fun for a living. So, I will try to develop the "fun" into some things positive.

My second mission, is to support all kind of extracurricular activities existing in this school. I strongly believe that extracurriculars are one of our ways to wipe all of our boredom, to make more friends, and to have fun in a productive way. I will try my best to support and enhance all the things related to positive activities.

My last, but not by any means least, mission is to make an event, or maybe even events, produced, staffed, created, by our own. By us, students. I'd like everyone to participate in school events as much as they can, and we'll make them fun and memorable, together. We can develop an art exhibition, a bazaar, a concert, prom night, and many more. Let's have fun!

Now, I don't want to be someone who spouts a lot of nonsense. I can't promise you that voting me will give you free chocolate bars and no homeworks for the rest of the semester. I do, though, promise you that I will try my best to fulfill my duties if I am to be a president. I will listen to your voice, I will be your voice, I will try to be a bridge between students and the school.

I will be really glad if you, my friends, are willing to give me a chance. Thank you so much for listening, forgive any wrong words I said, and don't forget to vote!
